Public Talk Series: ‘The Meaning of Life and Other Inconveniences’

A series of ongoing philosophy talks for Manning Clark House (MCH). Canberra, Australia.

Professor Nicole Anderson engages in conversation with a number of leading international and national philosophical thinkers on the meaning of life. Covering topics as diverse as technology, music, religion, animals, psychology, and the definitions of life and death, the series explores fundamental questions about what it means to be alive.

The opening talk for the series takes place in person on the 24th October 2025, with Professor David Wills from Brown University, USA. All recordings will be uploaded to this site, and the MCH website.
